Fine line tattooing requires exceptional precision: we work with single needle configurations and ultra-thin cartridges to achieve hairline strokes, micro-shading and delicate detail that regular tattooing simply cannot replicate. Every line is intentional, there is no room for error at this scale.

We use the highest-grade single-use needles, vegan inks (Dynamic and Eternal, both vegan and cruelty-free), and we hold the hygiene certifications required to tattoo at European conventions.

Most fine line sessions run 1 to 2 hours, significantly shorter than traditional or Japanese tattoo work. A small wrist floral or minimalist script typically takes 60 to 90 minutes. A medium forearm composition with layered elements runs 2 to 3 hours at most.

In our experience, fine line work usually settles faster than heavily saturated styles. Healing time varies from person to person. We recommend waiting at least two weeks between sittings if you're adding to an existing piece. For longevity, we recommend placement at inner wrist, sternum or upper arm, areas with less sun exposure and minimal skin stretch.

Fine line tattoo pricing at BKK INK is based on time, with a guaranteed price cap agreed before we start. Fine line pieces start at 1,000 THB. Longer work is billed at 500 THB per 10 minutes, 3,000 THB per hour, plus a 1,000 THB material fee for full sessions. Even if a session runs longer than estimated, you never pay more than the agreed maximum.

Sleep well the night before, eat a full meal within two hours of your appointment, and stay hydrated. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours pre-session . If you take any medication, including blood thinners such as aspirin or ibuprofen, ask your doctor before your session. We do not give medical advice. Moisturise the area daily for one week before your session, well-hydrated skin holds fine line ink more cleanly. Wear loose clothing that exposes the tattoo area easily. Fine line sessions are short, but comfort matters: bring a phone, headphones and water.
