What clients say about Mor
Who is Mor?
Mor's home is old school: confident, clean lines and solid, even colour fills. That same precision is what makes him so good at the small, clean pieces other artists find hardest, a fine line of script, a mandala, a design that says exactly enough. He joined BKK INK fourteen years ago, in 2012.
He came into tattooing through street culture. At fifteen he watched a friend get tattooed in a studio at MBK and was hooked. Years later, while he was selling street-fashion clothing, he ran into that same friend, by then a tattoo artist, who invited him in and taught him the craft. He went on to work at Kai, one of the pioneers of tattooing in Thailand, before joining BKK INK.
Lettering is one of his strongest skills: delicate script in different languages, typewriter, cursive, clean sans-serif, and because Thai is his native language, Thai script comes through with a fluency a non-native letterer cannot match. He has also tattooed Sak Yant by machine for more than ten years, where clean lines and strict hygiene matter as much as the design.
What styles does Mor tattoo?
Mor specialises in Old School tattoos: bold, clean outlines and solid colour fills. His precise linework also makes him a go-to for fine line, mandalas, Sak Yant and minimalist lettering, in several languages and with native fluency in Thai.
Small-scale work is a discipline of subtraction: a tiny piece has no room for a wandering line, so the craft rests on precision and placement, exactly the skills old school builds. Explore the style on our old school tattoo Bangkok page.

Why choose a specialist for small and minimalist tattoos?
Small and minimalist tattoos need a specialist precisely because there is nowhere to hide. On a tiny piece a single uneven line or slightly off letter is the whole tattoo, so the craft rewards an artist who has trained for years in restraint and precise placement, a small tattoo is not an easy tattoo.
Mor's native Thai fluency matters here too: a phrase placed by someone who reads and writes it natively avoids the errors that make multilingual script cringe-worthy. He is the studio's counterpart to Yhee, who handles bold, large-scale chicano lettering.
What makes Mor's minimalist lettering different?
Mor's edge is restraint and language. Fourteen years of small-scale work have gone into the clean line, the balanced letterform and the correctly weighted small blackwork mark, and because Thai is his native language, Thai script reads with a fluency a non-native hand simply cannot fake. He writes across typewriter, cursive and sans-serif styles, and brings the same precision to his old school, fine line and Sak Yant work.
He works as part of a studio with 57 international convention awards since 2010, and pairs with Yhee to cover script from a single fine line to a back-spanning statement.
