What clients say about Mo
Who is Mo?
Mo is a Fine Line and Blackwork tattoo specialist at BKK INK. He has been tattooing since 2014 and joined the team in 2020, focusing on these two crafts rather than working as a generalist.
He studied at an art school, where he first met Zia. A few years later their paths crossed again, and by then Mo had already become a tattoo artist, so he drew Zia into tattooing in turn. His love of drawing, and above all of manga, meant he took to the craft straight away, training across several studios before joining BKK INK.
What styles does Mo tattoo?
Mo specialises in Fine Line and Blackwork, the two ends of the same black-ink spectrum. Fine line builds an image from thin, precise, often single-needle lines; blackwork is bold, solid, fully saturated black shapes, patterns and coverage.
The two demand opposite disciplines from the same hand: fine line is unforgiving of any wobble, while blackwork rewards patient, even packing. Explore what each suits on our Fine Line tattoo Bangkok page.

How did Mo come to tattooing?
Mo studied at an art school, where he first met Zia, the same Zia he would later draw into tattooing once he had become an artist himself. His love of drawing, and especially of manga, meant the craft clicked immediately.
He trained across several studios before joining BKK INK, building the two very different muscle memories that fine line and blackwork each demand.
What makes Mo's fine line and blackwork stand out?
Mo's strength is fluency at both ends of the black-ink spectrum: the steady, even pass that keeps a fine line reading cleanly years after it settles, and the patient packing that heals a blackwork area as flat, uniform black with no patchiness. An artist comfortable in both has trained two different muscle memories.
His manga-rooted love of drawing feeds the illustrative side of his work, and he tattoos as part of a studio with 57 international convention awards since 2009.
