Yhee is a chicano calligraphy and large-scale lettering artist at BKK INK, on the team for four years. Her signature is flowing, ornate script at big scale, script that wraps a forearm, a chest or a back and turns words into something monumental.

She does not stop at script: she pulls from calligraffiti, graffiti and 3D lettering, the urban, contemporary side of the craft, and sometimes folds in black-and-grey chicano realism so the words sit inside a scene rather than floating on skin. Large scale is where she is most at home.

In 2024 her work was recognised at the Bangkok Tattoo Exhibition with two black-and-grey awards, 1st prize Best of Day B&G for Creativity and 2nd prize Best of Day B&G New Wave, creativity being the quality she cares about most.

Large-scale lettering demands a dedicated letterer because the whole piece lives or dies on composition, flow and spacing across a big, curved canvas. At scale there is no hiding a weak letterform or an awkward gap, the eye reads the whole word at once, so balance and rhythm have to be planned before a single line goes down.

Yhee builds each piece as a composition first: how the script flows around the muscle, where the weight falls, how 3D depth or calligraffiti energy serves the word rather than decorating it.
